Wechselbörse Pro B Saison 2009/2010

  • Ehingen verpflichtet Kristian Kuhn:

    PRO B team Ehingen have signed German talent Kristian Kuhn (208-C-87, college: N.Arizona) to a contract. The 21 year old 208 cm center has made a steady development the last years even touching ground in the NCAA for a short period. Coach Ralf Junge is confident that his new player will help the team on the court. 'I am happy that we were able to win another young German player for our program. I am sure that he will be an importnat player for us this season', stressed Ehingen coach Ralf Junge

    Kuhn started his basketball career at SC Bergstrasse and played there from 2004-2006. In the 2005-2006 seaosn, he averaged 17.3 ppg, 14.6 rpg. In the 2006-2007 season, he played for TV Langen 2 in the Regionaliga and averaged in 13 games: 5.3 ppg, 8.2 rpg. In the 2007-2008 seaosn, he went over the pond and played college ball at Trinity Valley JC and in the 2008-2009 season went to Northern Arizona, but received little playing time and headed back to Germany and played at TV Langen where he averaged in 2 games: 3.0ppg, 3.5rpg.

  • Die Würzburg Baskets verpflichten Jejuan Plair:

    2. Bundesliga Pro B newcomer Wuerzburg Baskets has completed its 2009-2010 roster by signing Jejuan Plair (185-G-85). The 24-year-old Guard spent half of the 2007-08 campaign with the Crailsheim Merlins of the Pro B and produced the following statistics in 13 games: 17.1ppg, 3.6rpg, Assists-5A (5.5apg), 1.8spg, 2FGP: 49.2%, 3FGP: 26.4%, FT: 72.3%. After not playing in Europe last season, Plair is now going to return to German basketball.

  • Ehingen verpflichtet Leon Jacob:

    Leon Jacob (191-G-84, agency: Los Angeles Sports Group, college: Texas A&M Int.) has been added to the 2009-2010 roster of Erdgas Ehingen/Urspringschule (2. Bundesliga Pro B). The 25-year-old American played eight games of MTSV Schwabing (Bezirksliga) last season and dominated the league with 40.1 points per contest. After he moved to Germany, Jacob shot hoops for IBL's Los Angeles Lightning (5 games: 6.4ppg in the 2009 season). He graduated from Texas A&M International (NCAA2) in 2007. As a senior he had averaged 12.2 points, 3.6 rebounds as well as 2.2 assists in 26 appearances for the Dustdevils during 2006-07.

  • Speyer verstärkt sich mit Robin Gieseck und Rico Pires:

    The BIS Baskets Speyer (2. Bundesliga Pro _coooool bring in two more new players for the 2009-2010 season. Big man Robin Gieseck (209-C-77) and Rico Pires (180-G-84) will strenghten the roster.
    Gieseck played for Brandt Hagen in the 1. Bundesliga in the 90s and was a member of several 2. Bundesliga clubs over the following years. In the first half of this past campaign Gieseck suited up for Baskets Luedenscheid in the 2. Regionalliga.
    Meanwhile, Pires returns to Speyer. He already played for the BIS Baskets some months ago.

    Jonathan Genck kehrt nach Leitershofen zurück:

    Jonathan Genck (185-G-86) has decided not to continue to play for BC Weissenhorn, that moved up to the 2. Bundesliga Pro B. The 23-year-old guard goes back to BG Leitershofen/Stadtbergen instead. He already spent the 2007-08 with the Red Kangaroos in the Regionalliga South-East. During 2008-09 Genck contributed 9.1 points per contest for Weissenhorn and helped the Bears to clinch the RLSW title.

  • Kleine Info zu BC Scholz Recycling Weißenhorn: Jan heiß eigentlich Marco Schlafke!! Weiterhin im Kader sind Mario Simic, Bastian Zinder, Tobias Waitzinger, Florian Möbius, Ralph Schirmer und Mirko Soyer (früher Buljubasic). Hinzukommen wird dann noch ein Ami!!
